Thank you for taking the time to browse through my portfolio of reimagined furniture pieces.
What began as a simple daily walking practice quickly turned into something more. Along the way, I started noticing how much quality furniture was being left on the street—pieces with good bones, character, and history, just waiting for a little care. Those “street finds” became the foundation of my work. I love uncovering the beauty in what’s been overlooked and giving it a second life.
Furniture holds memories. My goal is to honor that history while transforming each piece so it’s ready to hold new ones.
At my core, I’m an artist. Much of my life has been shaped by athletics—I spent years playing and coaching girls’ basketball—which taught me discipline, creativity, and how to see potential before it’s fully formed. I later earned a degree in Architectural Design & Construction Technology and have worked as a freelance CAD drafter. That background allows me to use CAD software to create 3D visual renderings, helping imagine what each piece can become before the work even begins.
Using power tools (sometimes unconventionally), incorporating recycled materials, and letting nature guide my designs, I approach every project with curiosity and intention. No two pieces are ever the same—each one is truly one of a kind.
While this journey is deeply personal, I don’t walk it alone. My partner, Herb, is my biggest supporter and constant source of encouragement. We also share our home with two very photogenic cats, Kwame and Kitty, who bring plenty of joy (and appearances) into my work.
